Anne Hathaway Changes it up With 2023 Sundance Film Festival Looks

Anne Hathaway, well known for her roles in films such as The Princess Diaries, Oceans 8, and Les Miserables, recently attended the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. She attended the festival for the premiere of a film called Eileen, in which she plays a leading role.

During Anne’s time at the festival, she sported a couple of different looks that we found very interesting.

The Puffer Jacket 

One of the outfits that we saw Anne wearing at the festival was a Versace corset-style puffer jacket. The outfit sounds like it would NEVER work, but when you look at the photos, there is a charm to this look.

Anne was photographed wearing this puffer jacket with a pair of sheer black tights, a small Bulgari bag with a chain-style strap, and a pair of chunky, Aevitas combat boots. Her hair was left down and wavy, and she complimented the look with minimal jewelry and light makeup.

The Little Black Dress

It seems that under Hathaway’s puffer jacket was a chic little black dress. This lacy Versace mini-dress featured a faint checker pattern, spaghetti straps, and a sheer back panel.

Her accessories remained the same, though her necklace was much more visible without the puffy coat.

The Oversized Flannel

Anne was also photographed wearing an oversized, green, and blue flannel. She wore the flannel over what looked to be a black turtleneck and a pair of leggings. She wore the same boots with this outfit as she wore with the others.

Her hair and makeup were similar to the looks before, and she seemed to have foregone the purse and jewelry.

What We Thought

Overall, the biggest thing we appreciated about Anne’s looks was the sense of practicality emanating from them. Everything was sleek and stylish, but nothing was too over the top. She kept her makeup simple and allowed the outfits to speak for themselves.

We also really appreciated how she chose to reuse her shoes for her time at the festival. That was a nice touch that added to her relatability.
