From Latto to GloRilla and Ice Spice, the 2023 BET Awards was loaded with hip hop and rap talent. New and established celebrities stepped out in some of their most glamorous and sexy looks, leaving nothing but stardust on the pink carpet. There may have been outstanding performances, but the fashion was just as good and anticipated.
CoCo Jones Glistens in Red
R&B singer CoCo Jones was a vision in her sparkly red dress. Her midriff exposure and low neckline revealed a confidence in the artist that we love to see. Her glam highlighted all of the right angles, making her bold look one of the most picture worthy ones of the night.
JT’s Silhouette in Black
City Girl rapper, JT, delivered absolute excellence in her curve-hugging black gown. The tasteful sweetheart neckline is accompanied by buttons down the center of her dress. While the pop of white adds to the standout factor, the mostly black ensemble was one of the best modestly tailored gowns of the night.
Ice Spice’s Moment in Mesh
As one of hip hop’s most acclaimed rappers, Ice Spice was expected to show out and show up in fashion unlike any other — and that she did. She chose a straightened hair look over her iconic orange fro. Her Dolce & Gabbana corset dress has mesh, fishnet, and lace cutouts, highlighting her curves in all the right places. And her matching lingerie garments add a seductive sass that only the Bronx native could pull off.
GlorRilla’s Elegance
Rapper, GloRilla, was a sight to see at the BET Awards. Her long black gown with revealing sides and deep v-cut chest were both tasteful and elegant. Her high leg-slit was also nothing short of stylish and her mesh gloves added to the grace of the look. GloRilla chose a soft glam and she accessorized with gold.
