With 100 new and old designers showcasing their best swimwear, it’s no surprise that 2023 Miami Swim Week was full of different swimsuit trends. From innovative fabrics to curve-illusion cuts, designers really showed up and showed out.
In addition to the gorgeous variation of cuts that highlighted the models' silhouettes flawlessly, there were embellishments picked from a jeweler by the fashion brand Vasaro, beautiful patterns for an island getaway by Luli Fama, and sexy lingerie inspired pieces from Alvin Valley.
Lingerie Inspired Swimwear
Designer Alvin Valley came through with one of the most risqué swimwear designs at 2023 Miami Swim Week. His lingerie inspired pieces gave a seduction factor that every woman dreams of achieving. Not to mention, his bridal pieces were spectacular and the perfect essential for your anniversary or honeymoon. His swimwear was mostly made in black or white, while his coverups stole the show with their high-quality fabric and ‘night time’ inspired look.
What’s better than being in a tropical paradise? Wearing it! And designers like Luli Fama epitomized this essence exquisitely. From bright colors that molded into each other in a pattern perfect for the island, Luli Fama completely slayed their intention. In addition to their island pattern pieces, we’re sparkles, cheetah print, and plenty of pink.
Curve-illusion cuts were a knockout this season at 2023 Miami Swim Week, with Vasaro stealing the show with their unique designs fit for anyone looking to highlight their physique in the best way possible. Not only do curve-illusion cuts make you look thinner, they turn heads with their distinctive fabric structure, making every angle — your angle.
Again stealing the show and setting them apart from other designers with their multiple swimwear designs, was Vasaro. This time, with exclusive embellishments hand picked by a jeweler. The O-rings were unique and brought attention to its detail by being of high-quality. And let’s not forget about the sparkle factor when you’re in the sun!
